The annual Pie Festival was about to begin when the legendary Golden Apple Pie mysteriously disappeared.

Mohini, Kora Steelheart, Kragan “Mountain-Breaker” Ogolakanu, and Gimli investigated the bakery and discovered strange footprints leading to a hidden tunnel. Kragan even smashed the secret entrance wider so the party could fit through!

Deep underground, the heroes discovered strange clues: half-eaten fish, scorch marks, and a child’s drawing of a goblin, a dragon, and a pie.

Following the trail, they found Nib, a young goblin, hiding with Pip, an adorable baby dragon—and the missing pie.

Nib hadn’t stolen the pie for himself. Pip was hungry, and Nib had been trying to care for his new friend.

After a little chaos involving a failed attempt to sneak away with the pie, the heroes chose negotiation over violence. Kragan promised to get Nib more pies, while Gimli shared some of his own pie with Pip.

Then the hideout’s roof collapsed.

Pip’s mother, a huge copper dragon, arrived. After learning that the adventurers had protected her child, she rewarded them with dragon scales for armor or weapons.

The heroes returned the pie, saved the festival, and received 250 gold pieces and free pie for life from Mayor Bramble.

Session Summary - The Exam Continues The adventurers’ combat examination continued in the academy’s exam field, where the Bullette and the newly released Pixie Swarm were already waiting for them. A new adventurer also joined the party: Nimra Tumblefoot. Nimra had been sleeping in the academy dormitories, where Kragan discovered her when he woke up. Session Summary The adventurers returned to Mayor Bramble after successfully solving the missing pie mystery. While thanking them for their help, the Mayor noticed that the team lacked experience fighting monsters. He recommended the Monster Fighting Training Academy in Hesiod, run by Loomis, and asked the group to tell him that Mayor Bramble had sent them.
